Philip P. Marino, president and chairman of the board of Ridgewood Associates, has been helping individuals plan their financial futures for over 40 years. Phil’s career in financial services began with Guardian Life in 1960. While at Guardian, he acquired a broad background in hands-on financial planning and management. At that time, insurance people were far better trained to provide financial planning advice than most stockbrokers. Among Phil’s achievements at Guardian, he acquired the coveted Chartered Life Underwriter designation.

In the early 1960s, Phil recognized that the insurance industry would ultimately find it necessary to offer products other than life insurance to satisfy the needs of his clients. Phil started concentrating on investments. In 1969, Phil entered the securities industry on a full-time basis with Bache and Co. From there he moved to Elkins, Stroud as the resident manager and syndicate contact. He later became a Vice President with Tucker Anthony and founded Ridgewood Associates in 1985.

Phil specializes in conservative long-term investing and comprehensive financial management.

Phil attended Stevens Institute of Technology and Newark College of Engineering.

Anthony Marino earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Scranton. While still in school, he became registered with FINRA by passing the general securities representative examination (Series 7). Upon graduation he joined Ridgewood Associates full time. As the son of the founder, Philip P. Marino, Anthony has been guided by his father’s knowledge of the business. Since joining the company in 1996, he has gained broad experience of the business, from sales to management. He is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative (Series 65) and a General Securities Principal (Series 24). Anthony specializes in long-term, conservative investing, and helping clients achieve their lifetime financial goals.

Pamela Acierno is a Registered Representative (Series 7) and Operations Manager at Ridgewood Associates. Pamela has been with the firm since its founding and has over 20 years of experience in both the retail and the operational side of the brokerage industry. She graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Pam is a client liaison specialist who provides our team with unexcelled support.
